Futura Medical DirectorDr. Terence M. Quigley, Medical Director Futura Health Screening

“As a practicing vascular surgeon for over 25 years, I see so many patients who could have avoided a debilitating stroke or a life-compromising disease, had they only been screened earlier for vascular disease; now it’s too late for anything other than invasive remedies.

Screening for vascular disease, especially in “at risk” individuals, gives participants knowledge of their potential for atherosclerosis or existing vascular abnormalities and may motivate them to modify their risk factors and behaviors. This can reduce the necessity of surgery or other invasive interventions in the future.

A few simple questions on family history and lifestyle can identify if you might be at risk and should consider ultrasound vascular screening. If a screening is recommended for Stroke, Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) or Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) these simple, painless tests can identify individuals who have no outward symptoms but may be at risk for potentially debilitating or fatal events such as stroke or AAA rupture in the future.

I fully endorse Futura Health Screening as a highly credentialed and accurate vascular screening company; motivated to educating the public about stroke, PAD and AAA prevention.”
